Crompond is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Yorktown in Westchester County, New York. It is located about 50 miles north of New York City and is part of the New York Metropolitan Area. The zip code of Crompond is 10517.

Crompond lies only a few miles to the east of the Hudson River and is located just off Taconic State Park, which runs into New York City. There is commuter rail service available along Metro North Hudson Line, which terminates at Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal. The nearest train station is in Peekskill, located only a few miles away.
